PhotoMountains.com was developed by photographer Jeff Pflueger.

The website is built on the Drupal Content Management System.

DAMeasy is a Perl package I wrote which turns directories of images into search engine optimized webpages.

I modified the package for Photo Mountains to use Drupal nodes as templates.

I created the track logs during the flights with a Garmin GPS. Later I geotagged the images with software that uses the time stamp in the metadata of the image and the time stamp in the track logs for each datapoint to embed exif GPS data. DAMeasy places the GPS data into a mySQL database along with all of the other metadata. From there a php script I wrote generates a KML file to place the images onto the Google maps.
